A perfect birthday celebration dinner. Attentive service, but not in your face--allowed us to have a leisurely meal over a number of courses. The food was spectacular. It was at once homey yet upscale. It was not something we could make at home and make it better. Phenomenal meal all around, very friendly staff, great service, and delicious food. We enjoyed everything we had. Our favorite part was the chicken Kyiv and the Matcha salad, which was basically a wedge Caesar except cooked warm, cabbage with phenomenal toppings.
Domek. The food was outstanding. A menu that we found perfect for sharing. The service was top notch. The ambiance was ideal for conversation. Light jazz playing and a comfortable noise level. And the prices were appropriate. I wish them a long and successful run in Eugene.

Domek is a restaurant in Eugene offering what is described as the best culinary experience at budget prices for Michelin star quality food. The dishes are elevated, fabulously fresh, yet have deep character, taking Polish cuisine to culinary proportions. The menu features items like shrimp toast, pierogis, stroganoff, cod, glazed carrots, Hungarian farmer’s cheese dish, ling cod, and Macha Cabbage & Radicchio Salad. Desserts include the 14 layer honey cake, which is exquisite and not too sweet, and the Toasted Siberian dessert with grapefruit and toasted meringue with lime zest. The cocktails are outstanding with layers of flavor. The decor is beautiful, warm, intimate, and vibey. Service is impressive, impeccable, welcoming, and attentive, with staff being friendly and informative. The rotating menu melds several Eastern European cuisines with Eugene’s local fair. Prices are very reasonable. Domek is considered a great addition to the Eugene food scene and has been called the star of Eugene.
