The service was very good and the booths are nice and private. I gave 4 stars because the food wasn't worth what I paid. I ordered the Ranch breakfast which had two eggs, bacon, hash browns and a biscuit. I upgraded my hash browns to loaded and ended up with a thin layer of over crispy oily hash browns that I took two bites of and couldn't eat any more they were so bad. It sure wasn't loaded! This is a traditional, all American diner with all the favorites and experienced wait staff. The atmosphere in the Elmer's in Eugene, is a step up from most family diners. The coffee is good and I usually go for breakfast, but its also my favorite place to get prime rib.
