Great service and excellent coffee options! Our first stop after arriving from Arizona. We love the rustic patio area.

Great little outdoor courtyard and fantastic service. The chocolate croissant was amazing and the coffee tasted great!

Didn't live up to the hype I have heard about. Maybe I'm not in love with the flavors they have created as their roasting and bean choice seemed legit. My iced mocha was too acidic tasting for my liking. The area to sit outside the place was beautiful and peaceful for the area that surrounded it. A nice escape that I'll try again.

I was so excited to find out this place is only a couple minute walk from my place, and has such a cute courtyard. Well, I just got back home from trying it for the first time and it was a very poor experience. The two working acted as if they’d rather be doing quite literally anything other than take my order/make my drink. I went well before closing and there wasn’t a single other customer there, I was looking forward to getting one of their baked goods and trying a drink they recommended But the one taking my order was very curt and rude and I just ended up ordering a simple latte so I could leave. I understand everyone has bad days and it’s hot out, but there wasn’t even minimal effort to even crack a smile. I felt very unwelcome and like a burden so I probably won’t be going back as there are plenty of other coffee options in the Whit with kind staff.

I love this tiny family owned coffee shop! They source and roast their own beans, make their own milks and are all around fantastic people. The courtyard on warm days is so delightful. Good baked treats and gallery walls too. Highly recommend!Dietary restrictions: Alt milks available

Great coffee, a little pricier but the taste is worth it. Too bad they don't have indoor seating! This would be my spot if they did.

Trip coffee can be amazing, disastrous and everything in between. Coffee has a daily limit, so if you pick the wrong place, your coffee adventure for that day could be a waste. It's not like going to a bad bar or even restaurant where you still can eat a few hours later. Coffee has a small window and a maximum amount of intake. That being said, this morning we chose wisely. Not only did we use Yelp but we backed up our decision with a google search and that took us to Reddit. Equiano was a top suggestion on both sites. And we understand why. The service was 100% top notch. Helpful. Friendly and knowledgeable, not only about what they offered but about the regions best shops! The coffee itself was very expressive. The Camaroon was totally my style with an earthier tone and the Chai was delightful. The outdoor seating was so very comfortable with a unique sort of panache that I would love to have at my neighborhood coffeeshop. The raked gravel was a nice touch. And even though they didn't have indoor seating with the drizzly day, it was a highlight that I will be repeating in our future travels.

Went out of my way to get an espresso here and they don't have oat milk only cashew milk. By the looks of it it's cute, but very small but cashew milk doesn't taste great to some of us.

Easily the best coffee in Eugene, and it helps that at least one of the owners is always there! I buy their beans frequently, and always enjoy the conversation!

equiano is one of my favorite places in eugene and one that i always bring visiting friends & family too. only open on friday- sunday, you need to be intentional with the time you spend at equinao, making it a treat. their lovely courtyard is covered by a mimosa tree that provides shade and beautiful flowers--it-s easy to feel like you're tucked back in a secret garden of sorts. the owners and staff are all incredible people. oh! and they have gluten free pastry options.

Excellent coffee. Only 8 and 12 oz sizes which doesn’t get me there psychologically. $$$$

One of the CUTEST coffee shops I've been to. The seating is outdoors but has a roof covering. There is a tree with outdoor lights with a garden vibe. Menu has the basics. The milk alternative is Cashew milk. My first time ordering at a cafe. It is better than almond milk but I still prefer oat milk.

What a wonderful indie coffee shop! Our friend a Eugenite took us there where we enjoyed wonderful coffee on a sweet patio. Straightforward great coffee roasted and served by 2 lovely owners. With a small selection of pastries we chose to order only coffee. The vibe was peaceful, the patio had lovely flowers, and we all loved sipping our coffees and conversing. Support local businesses!!
