I’ve had Ethiopian food here, Seattle, Washington DC and Dallas Texas. I liked it best here at Makeda’s. They also had herbal tonic mocktails that were delicious.

Delicious food and a warm, wonderful server! Our group shared a meal that was gluten-free and vegetarian.

This is always so delicious and the owner Eden and staff are so kind. It’s a hidden gem as they just moved to full restaurant instead of a truck this year.We came here with a friend who needs gluten free food and we were happy to learn that their injera bread is only traditional teff, so it’s naturally gluten free. We were all super happy with the food. Plentiful and a good value.Vegetarian options: Lots of options, highly recommend the veggie platter if you have enough people. We split it 4 ways and had leftovers.Dietary restrictions: We came here with a friend who needs gluten free food and we were happy to learn that their injera bread is only traditional teff, so it’s naturally gluten free.

I wish I could say I loved this place but I just don't. I've never been less excited by Ethiopian food and I'm worried my kids won't want to try it again elsewhere. Surprisingly bland, and the texture of the injera wasn't quite right, it absorbed too much too easily and went immediately too soggy to eat with properly.

Tried the beef tibs and sambusas. Both were fantastic. I crave this place often and look forward to Saturday market in part because of this food truck.

I've heard many great things about Makedas that I had to try it. The food was good. The temtumo was very lemon-y, but the sambusas were great! I would come back to try a different Ethiopian dish next time.

We are really excited to see an ethiopian spot opening in Eugene. We were greeted warmly, the inside is very cute and a great atmosphere for taking family or a date. We ordered three things on the menu (the same we usually order when we get ethiopian) and we thought the portions were small. We're used to bigger portions from other Ethiopian spots we've been to. The food tasted great tho

Such nice people! Really enjoyed talking to them. Food was just as amazing & exactly what I was craving. They gave me extra Sambusa which were absolutely delectable. Only downside is the portions are on the smaller side, but that’s not keeping me from looking forward to ordering from here again.

This was my first time trying Ethiopian cuisine. It was fantastic. For 12 bucks I got a heavy box of delicious food. I was stuffed, and I eat a LOT. The owner is awesome, very friendly. It was a bit spicy, so if you don't like spicy food it may not be for you. I will be back!Vegetarian options: They have vegan options

Wow, this food is absolutely delicious! Just tried it for the first time, and I can assure you you'll love it. Hope to be back sometime!Vegetarian options: Injeera, Red Lentils, etc...

The Alecha and Temtumo are both vegan! I tried both and liked them! The injera is moist and well made.I've heard rumors of a vegan burrito using the injera as a wrap, I'd love to go back and try.
