Hey, everyone, get EXCITED for Ethiopian food! Highly recommend Makeda's! The PERFECT cozy, comforting, nourishing food for your soul, especially on a chilly evening. We got sambussas, the chicken tibs bowl, alechia (potatoes, carrots, cabbage), and my fav, the temtumo (red lentils). My heart and tummy are happy. So many thanks!
We got the beef tibs and the potato stew and they were both incredible! Amazing spice, and flavor. The lentils in each dish take it to another level. Super sweet service and the person who took our order was so kind and genuine. Perfect comfort food, will be returning for certain!
I fortunately got to the restaurant just after It opened at 5 PM and it was, of course, uncrowded. In fact, I think I was the only first person there for about 10 minutes.
By the time I left the place was virtually full of hungry people.
