Mezcaluna Mexican Cuisine & Lounge - Eugene

My family and I are from San Diego and the food here reminds us of home. The food is incredible and all the folks working there are so incredibly kind go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. I wish I could give them more stars!

The seated us immediately ,even though we were early to arrive for our reservation. The food was fabulous. The service was exceptional 😍

Pleasant, high class restaurant. Polite and professional staff. Dish presentation thoughtful and well done. Tasty.

Food was decent and service was good considering how busy they were. Drinks weee small, expensive and a bit weak. Be prepared for a festive but loud environment.

It took 10 minutes to be greeted by our waiter who we could see was merely wiping dishes. We placed a drink order with an order of queso. The queso came after about 10 minutes but the drinks did not. 5 minutes later the tea arrived- but still no beer. 15 minutes more and the waiter came and said they were out of that brand so we ordered a different one. 10 more minutes and the bottled beer arrived - no offer of a glass. The only redeeming quality was that the food was very good. However, service was terrible. We would not go back - too frustrating.

Fantastic restaurant. The food and drinks were delicious. We visited after UO graduation. We had a party of 10 and were seated immediately upon arrival. The staff was attentive. Large portions of food so bring your appetite. I would highly recommend and will definitely eat there again.

A wonderful experience. Especially for Eugene. So much better than other local Mexican places. Great fresh margarita and huge food portions for a fair price. And great service!

The food was very tasty, the spicy margarita was the bomb and the ambience was very nice. Not very busy at the time we were there but we I'll be back because I would love to sit outside and have another spicy margarita 😋

Terrible inattentive service.. very small portion. Tiny amount of beans and rice. Not much alcohol in mojito. Overall not great. Many better Mexican restaurants around Eugene!

The server forgot one of our beverages and was asked multiple times. Finally brought it towards middle of meal. Also, a condiment was requested and not brought until the end of the meal. It was smokey and the server was not attentive.

The food is always great at Mezcaluna. Our server did not understand that I wanted a tostada because it was not on the menu, but I did order one at a prior visit. The item he did bring me was very good, so no complaints. Their fresh squeezed Margaritas are the wonderful. The music is a bit loud and hard to visit with six friends. It needs to be toned down. We will return.

Very good service and ambiance. Dining with friends and sat on the covered patio. Loved the table side guacamole preparation, and so tasty! We had the fajitas which we loved the presentation of and they were so good. Overall a lovely experience.

My enchiladas Suizas were fine, but the tacos my friend ordered were not great. I can't remember the name of the tacos and don't see them on the menu online, but they were chicken and pineapple. The presentation was bizarre, a stainless steel box with the meat, a whole onion, and 1 slice of pineapple on a metal skewer, and a pile of onions and cilantro in the bottom. The chicken was thigh meat and was very tough and fatty, and she said it had very little flavor. There were no other toppings (tomatoes, lettuce, cabbage, any kind of sauce), so the tacos were very bland and dry. Worst of all, they were $35. The ventilation needs to be kicked-up several notches. The whole dining area filled with acrid smoke every time fajitas were brought out. It was a frustrating dining experience.

Great more upscale Mexican fusion restaurant. Excellent food great service not your run of the mill typical Mexican restaurant.
