The food and service was good, I've ate alot of sashimi and this was good, not amazing but good. My issue was when I went into the bathroom, toilet brush on the ground next to the toilet covered in nasty broken up paper from the toilet and all around it. Light switch looks like has not been cleaned in a very long time, covered in black. Food was food but management needs to do better at cleanliness.

I recently visited Umiya Sushi and found the overall experience to be quite average. The food quality was decent but nothing special, and for the price, I expected more freshness and flavor. The menu seemed a bit overpriced compared to similar sushi restaurants in the area. Service was acceptable — the staff were polite and our food arrived in a reasonable time — but it didn’t particularly stand out. I had a great experience. Went in at 3pm when I knew it would be slow. My server was wonderful and the food great. Not many tables so was able to relax in a calm environment. I think this place is great.
