Stopped in to see Brian at the Nosh Shop today. It never disappoints, but today was exceptional. Had the fried cod, and all I can say is “you gotta try it.” Light crispy crunchy batter, perfectly cooked, flaky fish. Even the tartar sauce is worth writing home about. And it won’t break the bank. 2 large filets, and an ample serving of fries served with malt vinegar. All for $18.00, I’ve paid 30 to 35, for less, and nowhere near as good.

Best fish taco I have EVER had.
By far. I’ll be dreaming about these tacos.
And… will definitely be making a ride over from the coast soon just to have some more.
Everything Brian makes at Nosh Shop is good. End of story. OK...I miss the fried reuben egg rolls....but wow, his current menu of fish and chips, chowder, etc. is spot on. Perfectly prepared and seasoned.
