I first met Party Downtown as a food truck in the Friendly St neighborhood years ago. When they opened the brick and mortar location, a date took me there for the Chef's Tasting Menu and said I didn't have a choice. I am so glad he was a pushy jerk, because I wouldn't have ordered half of those things on my own. Each course, and I swear there were 9 of them, was amazing. A miso quail egg maybe? Either way every single thing was absolute perfection and that's high praise coming from a 20+ year veteran of the restaurant business. I used to work for Wolfgang Puck and he would have loved this meal. I love that they source from as many local farms as possible and everything is fresh and delightful. If you want to impress someone, or just bring joy to your own life, Party Downtown is the place.

Worst service I’ve experienced in a long time. Real bummer because I’ve been looking forward to trying this restaurant for so long. My partner and I made reservations for Kitchen choice under the assumption that we would get a nice portion of the tasting menu overall and a decent table. We were insteadwedged right by the entrance door.It took 20 minutes for anyone to acknowledge us once we were seated and a whopping 40 minutes for our first drinks to come. They were very busy which I usually try to understand, but we watched as larger tables came and went, properly attended to and wined \\u0026 dined. Our reservation was at 7 and we finally asked for the dessert to go at 10pm. Food was great, but portions absolutely ridiculous for $50 a person. One slice of cheesecake? I mean really? Disappointing and probably won’t ever go back, there’s just too many good restaurants in Eugene to risk that treatment again.

The food has been excellent every time..I forgot to get pictures of our dinner lol.. But here is dessert... The donuts with lemon curd and raspberry and chess mini pie.

Our friends who live in Eugene brought us to Party for dinner on our first night in town. We had a delightful tasting menu that included a salmon preparation that will remain with me for the rest of my life. Great wine selection (and a very knowledgeable sommelier in one of their co-owners) and a nice atmosphere. I hope to go back next time I'm in Eugene!

We had the tasting menu and wine pairing. Delicious, beautiful, and elegantly paces celebration of local, seasonal, organic, scrumptious fare.

Sad that I won’t ever patron this business since they are segregating who can eat inside based on vaccination status. Also still requiring masks even though all restrictions have been lifted. Geez. When is it ever going to be good enough for you people?

After giving a nice tip for takeout, our burgers were ordered well done and came back raw.Maybe they wanted more for a tip? At $17 a burger this place failed miserably. Next time I’ll go somewhere else. Overpriced and underdone.
