Went to Rye for dinner and was pleasantly surprised by the food and especially by the cocktails. i recommend the cocktail “the cure”!! my favorite thing by far were the brussels sprouts w halloumi (wish it had more bacon pieces), my steak came out to be more medium well than my request of medium but the chimichurri was fantastic and leveled up the dish FOR SURE! our waiter was a bit interesting and i felt kinda rushed at times but overall decent.
It's nice to enjoy dinner in a restaurant where the level of service matches the menu prices! Great wine list, great dessert cart, and limited but finely crafted menu, with lots of generous appetizer options.
It’s harvest time in the Willamette Valley and I thought I would see evidence of that on my plate. If there was a roasted tomato in my couscous, I sure didn’t see it. The salmon was nicely prepared, though half a minute over cooked. I passed on dessert as there was nothing featuring seasonal fruit. Overall, the quality of the food was good, not great, and I was disappointed by the lack of fresh, local produce.
