A well lit, not too loud, chill place to hang out and have a coffee for decent prices. I highly recommend the quiche, but get there early because I overheard at least 3 people trying to order after it sold out for the day!
I am on a mission to try every coffee shop and coffee stand in town, and today I visited Seize the Cafe and I will DEFINITELY be back. They have a variety of food options, from doughnuts to pastry to quiche and there's also the attached Pizza shop next door (though the pizza side was closed today so no comment on that). I consider this a must-go cafe when visiting Eugene. I adore the duck confit sandwich, with its perfect balance of savory meat, sweet tang from caramelized onions, and a touch of spice from the Dijon.
