What a very special place. Outside seems unassuming, but once inside, you will be seated in a lovely dining area. The menu is so special, in variants of dishes suited for nearly all pallets. Vegetarian, dim sum, beautifully curated authentic Cantonese dishes. Came in with a craving for rice noodles, ordered the brisket and tendon rice noodles dish and it is exceptional. The mushroom buns were out of this world, we are usually steamed pork bun types, but glad we tried something...
Everything was amazing! The food was out within 5 minutes of ordering. I had the sweet and sour chicken with shrimp fired rice. The portions were large enough for 3 people to share! I will dine at this place every time I am in West Eugene, Oregon!
The food was really good but our experience was tainted by a forced tip. We ordered a large amount of food (at higher than normal prices for dim sum). We are a family of 5. We have three small children 9, 7 and 3. They considered this a LARGE group and added a tip to the bill. We always tip well and I understand adding a gratuity to parties of 8 or more, but 5 people!? I didn’t see anywhere that an 18% tip will be added to your bill for parties of 5 or more. We aren’t a needy...
