We had reservations for a date night on a friday. Vibes were so good. Kelli was our server and she was so kind, attentive and bubbly. She recommended the wellington & we shared kebabs and both were DELICIOUS! Would definitely recommend.
I was a big fan of the Shrimp and grits and always ordered it ad the Davis. Last night the dish was very poorly prepared. What was listed as risotto in my companions dish was boiled long grain rice in a soupy sauce. The absence it the owner head chef is felt in the food (he is busy in another family restaurant). Please come back and check on the kitchen and correct those currently cooking!!! I love the Davis but it needs your attention.
We came here after the suggestion from my uncle who has lived in Eugene all his life.
Food went beyond expectations.
Staff was friendly and courteous.
Music and atmosphere was definitely awesome.
I look forward to coming here during daylight time to try some of their menu items.
