The Wild Duck Cafe accommodated the whole Kent State Women’s lacrosse team with great service and delicious food. We had such a great time. It just so happened to be the first karaoke night! It was an experience we won’t forget!

Ill be straight forward here, the burgers did NOT have very much flavor, let alone any at all. The only thing saving this restaurant is their fries.

Fun place to grab a bite. Bar service a little slow when its busy but people are nice and willing to help once you get their attention.

Chicken strip plate was basic. I did enjoy the fries..almost a beer battered version. Hawaiian plate had hits and missed. Pork was a little on dry side but flavor was great. Wished the plate came with more sauce to enjoy woth the rice. Rice was undergone and little crunchy. Mac salad was fun though.

We have a party of about 20 people in this restaurant for dinner on 1/16. The chicken is very dry and hard like rocks. No one is happy with their foods.

If you want to go before a duck basketball game, apparently an hour and a half before tip off is not enough time to get 1 round of drinks AND food-even if you have a reservation. Apparently the owner/manger thinks it’s ok to have a skeleton crew on game days. Would never recommend in a million years unless you want to plan at least 2 hours prior to tip off and that’s only if you’re lucky. Get more staff or close down. You are worthless if we can’t have a sandwich and beer in an hour and a half with a reservation.

This spot looked good coming in. Nice environment, and good sports vibe. Problem is, if you order food you won't make it to the game on time. I guess, if you order a salad 1 hour and 15 minutes before the game, you might make it, but not worth the risk.

Definitely a fun atmosphere and a great spot to stop before a Ducks basketball game. The spinach artichoke dip was ridiculously good and the Kids loved the Alfredo. Will be back next time we are in town for a Basketball game.

So sad, we used to come here all the time date night and appetizers and drinks! Now on news eve, 3 customers ! I would blast social media and have specials all day everyday get people in there and have fun again! 30.00 for a basket of fries and 2 ciders WOW! Come on wild duck, do better. And lack luster menu....

A bit pricey, with a bit of a wait on the food.
A sandwich and a drink for 25$, and about 20 minutes for the food after I ordered.

Don’t go here for breakfast unless you want to be treated rudely and wait forever. Waitress right in front of us ignored us at the entrance. Walked by ignoring us again. Came back to the podium ignoring us again. I asked “are we going to get seated?”

A pint of beer served in a plastic cup? This is a sit-down, table service restaurant/bar priced accordingly. Serving micro brews on tap in a plastic cup is not classy.

I’m loath to post a negative review. As my mother said, if you don’t have something good to say, don’t say anything at all. But this has to be the worst run restaurant I’ve ever been to. We went back two days back to back. The first day it was not busy but yet the service took forever. The next day we went for a parent event, the kitchen and bar were so backed up, we could barely order a drink and they informed us that the restaurant was at least an hour out for anything. We had to leave and it was so backed up I couldn’t close my tab. So I asked the bartender what would happen if I didn’t close the tab and she assured me they would charge a 20% tip at most and shook my hand on it. I woke up to a 60% tip deducted this morning. Needless to say we will never be going there again.
