Lady tried to accuse me of stealing a beer... Never stole anything in my life, had about a dozen people there with me.. She had no professionalism and for me I can't just be ok with the way I was treated. Not to mention, family waited 2 hours for a table after we we're told half that.

This place is like a lot of bars in OR - gotta be 21 to enter. Luckily, with a 16 yo we were allowed to sit outside. It was a little warm in the sun (but who should complain when you’ve got sun in OR in March!) The food was prepared well - though it took a while for it to come out and the help was friendly to us. This is definitely a local’s hangout in Florence - but has a genuine earthiness that we enjoyed!

Went to Novelli's and they were out fishing, so tried here for chowder. Not disappointed at all. Very good chowder. Way better than Mo's. Almost as good as Novelli's crab chowder.

The Beachcomber is a plesent place for either friends to get together for a drink or families looking for a quick bite. When you walk in it is clearly a bar. It's bar is promenent. The table games and pull tables are also obvious. They have a full bar with many beers on tap. But when you order food you will be surprised. The food is hot and fresh with big flavors. We got a pretzel popper dish that was similar to a jalapeño popper without the jalepenos. These are addictive. Restrain yourself. Because the burgers are hot and full of flavor. Don't mind the ingredients falling out. Pick them up with the hot fries and eat it all together. The beachcomber is a stop for everyone wanting to visit and see where the locals hang out.
