It would have gotten 5 stars across the board. The location was beautiful and the little cabin on the lake was so cute. That being said, being told that I couldn’t bring my water with electrolytes into the pub was silly. I drink it for health reasons. My family has loved our stay at Darlings. The owners are super kind and accommodating. The sites are well maintained, quiet and have beautiful views of the lake. We enjoyed having the delicious smokehouse restaurant on site for easy meals and the boat rentals were super convenient and fun! My boys also loved watching the deer hanging around the campground. Florence Area Kayakers, Oregon Paddlesports had a great event on Saturday June 6, 2026 at Darlings Marina. Kayak demonstrations and ample opportunities to try out different kayaks. Ended the visit eating great Bar-b-q out on the outside deck with a waterview at the Restaurant there to round off the visit.
