This was a nice cafe and bakery we stopped at near Old Town Florence. We wanted a piece of cake or a pastry. Quite a fee items looked really good but due to some food allergies there wasnt anything I could get. Give it a try though as their offerings looked yummy.

I always liked this place. I thought they offered a unique menu and have had some pretty delicious things from here. But something happened this past year that I can’t stop thinking about. I wanted a cake for Mother’s Day so I ordered one from here. As I’m placing the order the lady almost made me feel like I couldn’t afford their cakes. I ordered a large strawberry and cream cake, came to $90 after tip. I go to pick it up and the person handling cake- in front of me- takes box with cake inside and starts licking frosting off of fingers which came from inside the cake box. I asked out loud if she was eating my cake with her fingers and she said, “I’m fixing the frosting, it got squished by the box”. So no gloves? Just a few sticky-wet fingers will fix the icing issue from the cake? It grossed me out, I took the cake anyways and when I got home and celebrated with my mom and her friend we could hardly enjoy the cake. The icing was simple-whipped cream. The cake was simple- vanilla. The strawberries were almost nonexistent. For $60-90 a cake, it should be premium. Tasted like a Safeway cake, there was nothing premium about the experience. All and all- it’s an experience that has lasted a whole year almost. I just can’t get over the lady finger deep in my cake licking all over her fingers to clean frosting then handling box and cake again. I have not been back since, but I finally need to say something.I like to give advice when leaving reviews like this so you know what could have been done differently:Do not box cake until ready? If icing needs to be redone or touched up, gloves only! No finger licking touch ups.Have prices available with cake menu so when placing order you don’t come off as rude when you say, “you know this is a $70 cake”.

Very poorly made mocha. Tasted like coffee with skim milk. Watery, very little if any chocolate flavor and none of the creamy steamed milk I am accustomed to drinking in other establishments.

It was rainy day. Coffee/croissant was on my mind. Now it’s in my belly. And I could not be any happier.

We had a 16oz Mocha, 16oz Hot Chocolate, a Berry Scone, and small Sweet Potato Soup. Everything was yummy. I fell in love with the soup. We spent about 20$. The place is small, in a strange spot, and not fancy at all. The food is worth it. We'll be back.

You will love everything you eat here. We had delicious cookies and then bought a whole blackberry pie. YUMMMM!!
When I saw the sign for a bakery that also served lunch, I knew this was the place to head over to. We were wandering around the shops in Florence, and Sweet Magnolia was on a side street and set back from the street. Seek it out. There is a little, funky patio where you can sit and relax outdoors. We placed our order inside, and it was brought to our table on the patio. The sandwiches were delicious and of course we had to get a sweet treat for desert.

This place is a keeper! You go in the back door, through the sweet outdoor area. Pastries are top drawer!

When I got here, I had a migraine for about 16 hours. It was my anniversary with my husband and I couldn't find anywhere to eat because of my allergies. The owner saw me stressed out, crying because I didn't particularly like the soup I ordered. She didn't say anything, just gave me a pat on the back, asked if I wanted a different soup and gave it to me. No charge. I think she gave me a cookie on my way out. My day was so much better. This was about two years ago, still thought I should share.
