service was great, but the food took an hour to arrive and it was missing half the order. scramble was dry and way overcooked. then there was the no-cash fee, basically a credit card fee I wasn't told about. not a big deal but communication goes a long way. to top it off, they opened the doors to cool it off and I was blasted with cigarette smoke from the people sitting outside. I will never return.
I frequent the dunes and know the chef personally! Being a chef myself I have never seen a more dedicated cook in my life! He does the work of two and never complains and the food is consistently great! I often recommend! The wait staff is wonderful and always makes you feel welcome!
First, it would be nice to have staff that does not cuss when talking to you. Second, there is no reason that there should be a 5$ difference between lunchmeats.. a grilled ham and cheese is 11$ and a grilled turkey and cheese is 16$?? I understand it is not the employees fault for sure the pricing, that falls to the owners. it wasn't a great experience and I would not recommend visiting.
