Walked in through the front door, no signage indicating we needed to seat ourselves, waited a few minutes to be acknowledged by any wait staff as they seemed at capacity except for a couple visible booths, waited some more...nothing, had to walk over to a waitress that was at a till to ask about seating, didn't even get eye contact but was assured we can seat ourselves, sat and waited for about 15 minutes to get asked about drinks and ordered food since by then we were also ready for that, waited another 10+ minutes for drinks and about 20+ minutes more for the food, soggy bottom taco salad with bottom barrel greens was the wife's choice and I had the open-faced crab sandwich that was on a generic piece of white bread topped with the driest and spindly crab meat I've ever seen (and I've eaten crab growing up in the midwest), no flavor, just absolutely gross, shameful to be serving seafood on the coast like this, had to also get up and go to the waitress to ask for a glass of water after being passed by at least 6 times...I can overlook long wait times, but I cannot overlook atrocious service, we go to the coast at least once a year and I will NEVER set foot in this place again...suggestions: shrink your menu as clearly you do not want to pay for quality food or quality cooking...and maybe start holding your wait staff to a higher quality customer service standard, just saying

Loved this place. We've been several times for the food. Great bar fully stocked with top notch liquors and spirits! Staff is super friendly. Great place to hang for a last thing night cap after a walk on the bay.

Here's a little secret: On a street that caters mostly to tourists and visitors, TC is generally full of locals. The place is unpretentious, the food is great, the service is excellent, they make outstanding Margaritas, and on sunny days, there's outside dining on a sheltered deck over the Siuslaw River.

Ordered fish & chips with clam chowder and a burrito. The fish tasted worse than frozen fish sticks from a grocery store. But, at least it was dry and flavorless. The tartar sauce tasted more like mayo than any tartar sauce from anywhere else. The clam chowder was luke-warm and had hardly any clams in it, so it had no clam flavor; it tasted more like creamy potato soup. The salsa that came with the chips was mediocre; Pace picante is 1000 times better. The burrito was average, at best, also luke-warm. But, at least I was charged $3.50 extra because I asked for carne asada meat instead of ground beef or chicken, even though there was no mention of the upcharge when I ordered. When my order arrived for takeout, I asked if they remembered plasticware, tartar sauce, and ketchup for the fries (which also came luke-warm); the waitress insisted they were all in the bag. All but the ketchup!!! UNBELIEVEABLE!!! The highlight of the meal was the slice of lemon added for garnish. We'll NEVER return and don't recommend this restaurant!!!

Was looking for a great place to bring friends and we settled on getting some margaritas together. I remembered the "Margartia Deck" at Travelers Cove. We had a table out on the river and enjoyed a few Cadallac's and Strawberry rita's together. Plenty of chips and salsa and some great mexican food to share. Enjoyed the Shrimp Burrito and Fish Taco's. Great food! Will be back again.
I went into the bar area and asked the bartender if they had take-out and she said Yes. I ordered two fajita salads to go. When she brought the food and bill out I noticed one salad was $14.00 and the other was $16.00. I asked about it and she said the $2.00 difference was a service charge for the take-out. It would have been better if she told me up front about the charge. Not sure how they can add it in as food on the bill. The salads were delicious.
