Great sushi. Drinks were wildly expensive ($6.50 for a Coke). Nice atmosphere. Will definitely eat there again.

It hit the spot. We tried some new-to-us dishes and liked one and found the other to be ok. Great spot for lunch, the sun streams in the large windows and it feels light and airy inside.

Tried all the gluten-free rolls, sauces, and saki. Everything was fantastic.

I walked by plenty of times and it looks so chic, beautiful lighting, and cute atmosphere. I never went in until I heard that they were the same owners as Sushi Izakaya in Hillsboro. If you haven’t been so Sushi Izakaya I cannot recommend it enough (over 2k reviews on Google 4.6 stars - try it).So I came in here expecting that level of sushi but just here in our little town of Forest Grove. Win win. Well - it was fine at best. The sushi wasn’t rolled properly and fell all over the place. The bowls were okay. Atmosphere was what it looked like from the street so still very cute and comfy but just wanted more from the food. Here’s the best way to put it - after I went there someone said “yeah it’s like they give them all their old fish and cooks in training.”

Rock & Roll, Double Crunchy Spicy Tuna, 2nd & Lincoln and a California Roll with Sapporo drafts for three people. The rolls are eight pieces. This is the place to go for sharing. Sushi is the absolute best west of Portland. So fresh! I usually hit the sushi restaurants with the conveyors for variety but the quality suffers. My preference is to grab two or three or four folks to share the excellent food and service Sawa offers. 4 stars is only due to beer selection. Just a few Japanese lagers to choose from.

Food and service was very good just like our first visit a few moments ago. My only gripe is they close too early on Friday/Saturday at 8pm. Recommend opening till at least 9pm. Most diners are just starting to dine around 8pm.

Great sake list with in-depth descriptions for the novice sake connoisseur, present company included. Nice selection of Japanese whiskeys as well. Lovely atmosphere. Not your standard sushi place, the donburi is the main event but the sushi is quite nice.

Small but mighty. Love the fresh quality seafood, and the tempura is really good. My daughter loves this place and only missing some clams.

Welcoming atmosphere with pleasant decor. Staff was friendly and energetic for a Sunday evening. Food was top notch. Tempura cooked perfectly and complimented with tasty dipping sauce. Alaska roll was also delicious and well made so it wouldn't fall apart while dipping in soy sauce. Our waitress was nice and attentive.
