If you are a chai lover..try this place out! They have a chai tea that is a great blend of spicy & sweet...extra yummy with oat milk! I also enjoyed the generous portion of avacodo on toast!

Well….. had not been to this place since they moved to this location. Cannot say how disappointed we are in today’s visit. We ordered four things and we got one of them. 20 minutes later we had still not receive the other three items and we watched several other people get the exact items we ordered and leave. Finally when I reminded them of the other three items we ordered they said “ok”. No explanation or apology. Finally 10 minutes later the other three items arrived. Still no apology- just “here it is”. This is now over a half hour since we ordered them. Kind of ruined our mood frankly. 3 staff members were unfriendly and almost rude. In addition to that, the items were not good. The ham and cheese croissant was very dry and tasteless……. unfortunately, we will not go back. If there were zero stars I would’ve given them that.

Delicious AUTHENTIC sourdough bread and baked sweet treats. Service was great and made me feel welcomed in. Whether you just love sourdough bread, or you are eating a low FODMAP diet, you need to go check them out! They serve coffee, tea, and other sweet treats, like cinnamon rolls too.

My weekend routine is stopping into slowrise for a coffee and perfectly baked pastry. I've yet to be disappointed by anything they have served me always amazing ingredients and it's always great service and attitudes even when the line is all the way out the door. Oh and the BLT is one of the best I've had.
By far the best bakery i have very been too. Coffee is sublime and their baked goods are beyond extraordinary.

Do you like watching 5 people behind the counter move with sloth-like efficiency? Do you like your food served seperately and at dramatically different times, often resulting in a 10+ minute delay between the muffin and the toasted bagel you ordered? This is the place for you then. You can't relax here because there's always a long, cranky line of people waiting for their orders. My mom and my husband find this place so aggravating that they refuse to go in and order. Made the mistake one time of taking 3 friends here and between our 4 food and drink orders, we were called up 6 times and there was a lag of 30 minutes between the 1st and last thing thing that was served. We had the audacity to sit outside so the whole time we couldn't relax because someone had to be inside to listen for the orders. You can imagine what it is like when you get a bunch of people doing the same thing... taking up space... squeezing against the people in line and those sitting down inside. The food is fine but i just wish they had someone in there to help them with efficiency.

Looks like they've started serving prior day cinnamon rolls (and with the cream off of it) at 7am, for takeout. I'm guessing it's because my tip was in cash and when they looked at the electronic receipt it said no tip. Also didn't warm it up like I asked. Will update review after a handful of times of good service and fresh pastries again.

Don't come here if you want to be in and out, under 10 minutes. The employees have polite personalities, but move at the pace of a snail. Zero pep in their step to accomplish tasks. They get things done. They just don't care about anyone else's time while they do it. Makes it tough to want to come here.
