Brenda and her husband are wonderful hosts! Friendly, small-town atmosphere. Fun place to people watch....although there are not a tremendous amount of people in Wheeler County, this is a hot spot! And the cinnamon rolls are wonderful.
We were overdue for a rest and some lunch and didn't know what we would find in Fossil. We found this gem of a cafe - just a small place but with so much charm and wonderful food. The owners gave us the warmest welcome and the food was excellent, from a simple but delicious burger and fries to healthy salad options and an excellent baked zucchini boat filled with Cajun rice, shrimp and sausage. We ordered the homemade supreme pizza and it was great! Fresh and lots of toppings!! Brenda was hospitable and made us felt at home. Will definitely return! I heard the garlic chicken pizza is delicious too.
