We went into the Parkside last night at 5pm. We are locals and have eaten here for years. Since the latest ownership changed - the place has really changed and after this experience I understand why the place is empty most of the time any more. There was 1 car in parking lot, the dining room was empty with a sign that said "see bartender for seating" - noting the dining room was open until 7pm. We were going to meet a friend who had requested to eat there for a birthday celebration....read full review
Got served raw chicken strips, didn’t notice until after I took a couple bites. When it was pointed out to the one and only server, her response was ‘I’ll let the kitchen know to check the chicken.’
Didn’t get an apology or an offer for something else. Also didn’t get the raw chicken strips removed from the bill. I just hope I don’t get food poisoning.
My only recommendation is for the health department to inspect this place.
had to wait 50 minutes for 2 orders of biscuits n sausage gravy and 1 Parkside breakfast hashbrowns were burned.. supposed to have a biscuit.. got burned cold toast. bacon instead of the sausage I was supposed to get
