For 8 years we have come to Timberline, and this is likely our most frequent spot at the hotel. The past few years we were disappointed with the high prices and low portions which felt like eating at Cascade. This year, however, was a significant improvement and it’s almost as good as it was when we first came! Had a late lunch at Ram's Head Bar after an afternoon of skiing. The setting is fantastic as the restaurant sits on the second floor of the Timberline Lodge. The food was solid, and the service was good. The views down below on the lobby and out the window on to Mt Hood are spectacular!
Nice for being the nostalgic hotel & great view , that's about it. Service was meh (hire more people?) , food over priced for what was had. Brought mom here for the first time ,we waited hour for soup & crab dip...
