I haven’t eaten here in a while. They have revamped the restaurant and the menu. I enjoyed my food and experience.

I'm really not sure why we don't frequent this place often. It has been years for both my wife and I, so this is like a first time visit review.
The service was friendly and inviting. The seating basic, but clean and adequate. Fun and engaging music videos from India on the big screen. Menu variety is excellent and the food comes out of the kitchen piping HOT...a trait that could be learned by other restaurants in Grants Pass.
Don't pass on the samosas! Plump and packed...could eat a plate of those and be happy. The sauces served with were excellent as well.
We had the Mixed Veg Curry and the Mutter Paneer. The curry had just the right kick and the paneer was super creamy and delicious. Had to have the garlic butter naan, which could have been a bit more garlic, but was soft and pillowy.
Service got a bit overwhelmed with evening takeout and online orders as our meal wrapped up...a good problem to have I suppose....and did not inconvenience us.
We're coming back. We have our 'safe and regular' restaurants in Grants Pass (dining out is expensive and I don't want a bad experience) and we'll be adding A Taste of India to the rotation. Recommend.

Ordered Dum Aloo and pulao. A few pieces of the aloo had gone bad and were smelling awful. The base sauce was just creamy and bland, with no real flavour. Pulao was Ok. Overall, it was quite disappointing

I have only tried one thing here (to go order) while away from Portland visiting family, the buttered chicken. Got it about a year ago and it was super watery and the taste was… off. I tried again today as we are back in town again (a year later, again a to go order) hoping that the previous poor butter chicken was just a one off, but unfortunately it was not. I paid $18 for buttered chicken that I am almost positive is just tomato sauce mixed with half and half cream 😞

The food was okay. The chicken tikka masala not good and was on the sweeter side. Paneer pakora and the chutneys were good. The service was fast

They serve all you can eat buffet Tue to Fri, 11am to 2:30pm. That's the biggest bang for your money for Indian food around here at Grants Pass

Very delicious, hot food. Had takeout! Huge portion of Aloo Gobi, basmati rice, Chicken Masala. Enough food for lunch/dinner tomorrow. Very nice people who own it!

This is very good authentic Indian food. Great prices. My wife and I typically split an entree and samosas.

Amazing people running this place and can’t say enough good things about this restaurant. Phenomenal customer service and amazing food. The food is always hot and fresh and delivered with kindness. 100/100 recommend you give it a try, if you haven’t yet!!

Ordered Chicken Vindaloo, Samosa and garlic nan.
The Samosa, very doughy, not crispy at all, and the filling had me thinking stove top dressing.
The Garlic Nan was extremely chewy, no taste of garlic.
And the Chicken Vindaloo. That was the most tasteless, non spicy Vindaloo we have ever had anywhere.
I am struggling giving 2 stars. I really won't be recommending A Taste of India Grants Pass to anyone. Such a disappointment
