The people are fantastic, the food is authentic and incredibly tasty! The place is a bit awkward. I prefer to take my food home from Ban Mai. The service is totally top notch when I do dine in. I have never been disappointed with any order and I have been there countless times for take out and dine in with my kids. They are always eager to tweak orders for individual customers that have food alergies or restrictions. 100% the best Thai in Grants Pass.
We just enjoyed a great lunch at Ban Mai . The papaya salad ( lots of peanuts and 3 chilis ) was very good. Our main was our favorite Thai dish - Basil Chicken. We ordered off the dinner menu so we could have the chicken chopped small like we have it in Thailand with a fried egg on top. It was perfect.
