Grew up in GP and loved it. Came back to town to visit awaiting the vegetable tempura and was not disappointed. Still the same good quality!

Matsukaze 松風, meaning 'Wind in the Pines' - is, to me - without doubt - the finest restaurant in Grants Pass. It's opened three hours a day during the week and 3.5 hours on Saturdays for a reason: that's all the time it needs. People are at the door before it opens and it's busy until closing time because the food is absolutely superb. And the ambiance: perfect.
