We live in Medford and were on a drive on Hwy. 238 to Grants Pass to pick up some Christmas gifts. We decided to grab dinner as it was late afternoon and stumbled on The Buckboard. Even in the off hour the place was busy, and got busier as the dinner hour approached. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive. The staff was amazing! We shared an order of wings and Nachos, I give the wings a 5 star, the Nachos a 2 star if compared to a Mexican Restaurant but I'll give a 4 star for Tavern Nachos. Overall... very nice experience.

The inside of this place is rustic, country, warm and welcoming. My first time was impressive. Waitresses and hostess were sweet, and the Burgers and Fries all delicious, made to order. The next time, two days later, I tried the Pizza. What a complete and delightful surprise. They served THE BEST PIZZA I've ever had! You gotta try it! It puts all these Pizza places and Italian restaurants to shame!
