The guy at our hotel recommended this place and I'm so glad he did. The food here was fantastic I had the fish and chips they were fried perfectly with an ale beer batter lightly battered just the way I like it crispy to and the fries were perfect to. I also had the clam chowder I didn't ask but I would guess it was homemade because there was a lot of potatoes and clams and it was thick it was so good I wish I got more to bring home with me I don't say that very often. Celebrated my Birthday with friends 1/23/2024 ! Absolutely had the perfect time,perfect food, server even took pics of us all for our memories together!!!Can't wait to come back & grab that cozy table by the fireplace ?

Updated 3-26-2024 Good chowder and great service. Still a good place to go. My salad was delish. My only gripe was that they didn't have an Italian salad dressing. The fish and chips looked wonderful.Good food, good brews and weekend music have made the Clam a favorite local hangout for many years. If the cozy atmosphere and good food weren't enough to bring you in, they have regular tap takeovers too. Enjoy a comfortable, relaxing break at the Clam in Grants Pass.
