Udders Ice Cream and Gelato

Always good.

Just because a place makes their own ice cream and gelato, apparently doesn’t mean that it’s any better than the cheapest store bought ice cream. And even worse, in half the flavors I tried there were ice chunks like it had melted and refroze. The dark chocolate isn’t dark, it tasted more like a fudgesicle. The peanutbutter cups tasted like the chocolate coin equivalent, neither chocolate nor peanutbutter. Very disappointing.

Udders Ice Cream and Gelato has some decent flavors and a lively atmosphere, but my experience was disappointing. The ice cream was average at best, and the quality didn't quite live up to expectations. Service was slow and unfriendly, which made the visit less enjoyable. Additionally, the prices felt too high for the portions and quality offered. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend it unless you’re really craving ice cream and don’t mind the service.

Udders has the most amazing ice cream. The atmosphere is fun and welcoming. The staff are friendly and efficient. We had a group of 13 and the service was great! The owner truly loves her business and her community ❤️

I had an unbelievably rude encounter with an older woman on the phone who I later found out to be the manager. I simply called to ask if they had brownie sundaes with fudge. I noticed she was very short with me and all she said was “we have brownies.” I asked again “do u have fudge?” She says yes. I come in a few minutes later as I was down the road and the woman I spoke to on the phone was talking bad about me to the other employee. I heard “like, we’re an ice cream shop of course we have brownies” how incredibly rude to treat ur customers this way. I asked the younger employee “were you guys just talking about my phone call?” And she froze. The manager stepped in and said “yes and what can we do for you today” she completely brushed it off. I finished the interaction with kindness as I am not one to cause a scene but called later to speak to a manager and that’s when I learned the older woman was the manager. I asked to get a call from the owner instead. I then received a call from the manager who was again, incredibly rude. She asked what happened and I was explaining it her she kept interrupting and deflecting. She tried to tell me I misunderstood what was said. I told her I did not misunderstand and I heard loud and clear what was said and requested a call from the owner. This woman should not be a manager as she can take no accountability for what happened and has narcissistic traits.

i didn’t catch his name. monday december 15th at around 6 he was by himself and his energy was amazing! super helpful and so fast it’s rare to see that good of customer service and he definitely deserves a shoutout! wish i got you’re name but thank you!

The little gal behind the counter made me a cookie sandwich. Oh my goodness, so big! 😋😋😋

Fantastic salted Carmel ice cream and the no sugar added chocolate was amazing!!!!

SO GOOD!!!!! It was a Sunday night when we got there and there was a line so you know its good, and when it was our turn to order the staff were awesome letting us try as many samples as we wanted. The ice cream is definitely worth stopping for if you're in the area and the friendly staff will definitely make sure you get exactly what you want.

Waffle cone were very burnt, and flavorless. Wish they had more options and cinnamon cone like Baskin Robin. The people don’t smile, that work there. They have two dairy free options but they need way more So dairy free people can enjoy ice cream as well. More sorbet, perhaps. And to be happy and upgrade their cones. More flavors!

Killer ice cream. 🍨 highly recommend this ice cream shop if you’re passing through Grants Pass. Don’t forget to sample some new flavors.
