“The outdoor ambiance, the access to nature, the plentiful indoor and outdoor seating made Sugarpine the perfect quick stop for our large group - we came to celebrate, and Sugarpine offered the perfect pit stop en route to Multnomah Falls. The weather was a bit on the cooler side for us Texans, but we could not resist how mouthwatering the ice cream options here sounded. We balanced the ice cream craving with a delightful waffle grilled cheese (unique and tasty, though also basic) with some tasty tomato soup as a side, though we could have used a thicker, heartier version of tomato soup. The cashier and wait staff were really friendly and patient despite the lines and the fervor around this really great and simultaneously outdoor location.“
“So delicious every time! The tamales are to die for and the tacos are so good!! They also make their own sauces including habanero and avocado that complement almost everything on the menu! Also, probably the best guacamole I’ve ever had.“

“The food is pretty decent; about what you'd expect for a chain restaurant. It's in a great location, and the food is reasonably priced for what you get.The service was really slow. We sat for about 15 minutes before anyone came to the table. After that, it was passably basic service. Nothing special, nothing terrible. The atmosphere is what you'd expect. It's loud, lots of big parties are crammed in, and there are kitschy things all over the walls. No surprises. It's exactly what you think it will be.I've gone there a couple times in the last couple years, and it's decent. I'll probably go again in another year. The food is solid, the rest is mediocre chain restaurant fare.“

“Food was good, though the atmosphere was dated (some would say vintage). There's a slot room in the back and the whole place smelt like a stale casino. Food was really good though, and if you can get past the atmosphere I'd recommend it“
