“If you are looking for excellent food and outstanding service, Mother’s is the place to go. I was visiting Portland this weekend and enjoyed the breakfast on Saturday so much that we went back before my flight home today (Sunday). Yesterday, Nick managed tricky orders with our larger group really well and was super friendly. Today, Emily went out of her way to provide excellent service and spread sunshine and kindness. On the food front, the French toast coated in corn flakes was delicious, and the cooks did a great job making crispy bacon that was not burnt. The friend I was visiting loved the tofu dish he had yesterday and also really enjoyed his oatmeal and bananas today. Our other friends were also very happy with their dishes yesterday….The place has a great vibe. I look forward to heading to Mother’s again on my next trip to Portland!“
“My wife and I had a fantastic brunch at Ovation. Try the Bloody Mary - delicious! I had the Eggs Benedict and my wife had the Pancakes. Both were expertly prepared. Romano has created a cute comfortable café experience where he treats his guests like family. We enjoyed the great meal and the experience and we'll definitely be back.“
“I've been here a few times and have tried the paninis, macarons, and cheesecake. They were excellent! The service wasn't top notch like the food. A few times were excellent with friendly and helpful staff ready to take my order. Other times, there was no one there and we had to wait until someone came. Not the cozy cafe experience I originally hoped for, but with this food court/truck layout of the station, all of your delicious needs are right at your nose! I ordered from a japanese food truck which was amazing and beyond our expectations. 4/5“
“I totally loved this place. Its a recent find for me as I have only recently had PDX added to my patch and now have cause to travel there regularly. Airport food can be very hit and miss but this place hits the spot. The lady that served me was really nice and funny - Its nice to have a positive interaction like that - especially that early in the morning. The food is well prepared and presented and the menu has something for everyone. If you need brekkie in PDX this is the place to go.“

“My husband is from New Orleans and was pleasantly surprised that the Jambalaya he ordered did not disappoint. Great flavor and generous portion. The young man cooking receives four stars (out of five) he was slightly abrupt but HEY he was alone and had orders to fill.Busy Sunday but we were able to find a table inside out of the chilly wind.“
