“Decibel is such a great spot. The atmosphere is stylish without trying too hard, and the food was seriously impressive across the board. Highlights for us were the burrata toast with figs, the smoky deviled eggs, and the kale Caesar loaded with flavor and fresh parmesan. Drinks were excellent too — balanced, strong, and beautifully presented. Finished with an incredible lime dessert that was light, creamy, and refreshing. Everything felt thoughtful and high quality. Definitely a place I’ll come back to.“
“Too Soon is a much-needed addition to the Portland scene. The perfect place to relax with friends or even actually meet somebody new worth meeting. Looking forward to checking out their awesome menu! Plus the bartenders can make anything and everything ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️“

“This place is a Portland gem. Amazing vibes! They had fantastic drinks. Very inclusive food and the best ambiance. Cozy romantic cool vintage, and more. Very interesting drinks. Both Cafe drinks and bar beverages and I love that they were so inclusive with vegetarian options, gluten-free options, and zero proof options. Very important. I highly highly recommend.“

“We had a short visit, but the experience left a lasting impression. The hospitality here is truly top notch. From the moment we walked in, we felt welcomed and taken care of in a way that stands out. Even though we didn’t have much time to stay, the team made sure every moment counted, and that level of attention really meant a lot.
Seth was a great bartender—friendly, attentive, and clearly passionate about what he does. He added to the experience in a way that felt natural and genuine, which made our time there even more enjoyable.
What impressed me most was how authentic everything felt. It wasn’t forced or overly formal, just a real sense of care and pride behind the bar. That kind of atmosphere is rare and makes you want to come back again.
We didn’t get to explore everything this time, but what we did experience was enough to know this is a place worth returning to. My husband especially loved the rum selection, which definitely stood out and gave us another reason to come back and spend more time enjoying the bar.
There’s something special about a place that can leave such a strong impression in a short visit. It speaks to the consistency and quality of the service. We’re already looking forward to coming back soon.“

“Shig's menu is on point: the burger and chicken sandwich are both among the best ones in town. Mini Monday and Taco Tuesday are 5 star experiences: the sliders and crunchwrap fully slap. Sean's cocktail menu is terrific, both perennials and seasonals (the Golden Sombrero ftw). My praise to every bartender who contributes to it. Beyond the surface, the intangibles are undeniable: this is a true neighborhood joint that consistently punches above its weight, and they do the neighborhood proud.“

“I did the elixir experience at Ravens Manor and I highly recommend! The staff were extremely entertaining (shout out to Carmella and Lilith) and were accommodating! The entire bar is decorated top to bottom in the spookiest way- I truly felt like I was an evil scientist in the lab! If I ever come back to Portland, I will for sure be visiting the manor again!“
“I frequented this place a lot over the years, it’s nice and intimate inside and a great place for a date night. We don’t usually order food but the cocktails are straight forward and well mixed. It’s not the best place in town to order a cocktail, but it is the best place in “

“We wanted to try here again, it had been a few years since we'd been. It made it for happy hour and got a couple of the cocktails-a rum negroni and an Old Fashioned type bourbon drink. Both were excellent. We got some food including the shrimp cocktail and a burger and fries. The food was also fantastic. Our server was super friendly and helpful. We very much enjoyed our experience here and will be back soon.“

“Stopped by while exploring Portland because the vibe was superb, and hot damn, so was the banh mi! I had the soy curl banh mi; I love when restaurants make their veg banh mi more than just a sad slab of tofu. The soy curls were crispy and slightly sweet which balanced the pickles and the spicy chutney they used in place of sliced jalapeños, and the bread was fantastic. Fries were crispy, fresh, and delicious with a spicy sauce. We sat outside on a sunny day with a west coast IPA and could not ask for more.“

“What a great spot to hang out. Food and drinks are fabulous. Paydirt is dark and sexy with a huge selection behind the bar. Bartenders are friendly. Sitting outside is fun when the weather is right. Choice of food is awesome. Mexican, fried chicken, pizza, pho, it’s all good. Parking is street and we were a block away but not too far.“

“Delicious & immaculately presented, robust drink menu and Tapas done right 😋“
“The Cypress room is a hybrid little side room, half bar, half restaurant (and thus minor friendly), just across from the main Courtyard restaurant, specializing in light bites, desserts, brews and cocktails. Unlike Honors, Detention, and the Boiler Room, it's open *most* of the time, with no real blackout times or dates (other than the early morning), making it among the most accessible, thus it's probably the room in which I've spent the most time at the Kennedy School, other than the soaking pool.Service is usually quick and attentive; easy to do in a cozy little space like this. And as its just one piece of the McMenamins pie, the prices and quality of drinks and food are the same as you'll find elsewhere on campus. If your visit to the Kennedy School involves coming early, or bringing kids, you're probably going to find yourself in the Cypress Room at some point!
Kid-friendliness: Minor friendly (and the only "bar" on campus that is).“

“WOW! A reasonably priced fine dining experience (all vegan!🌱)!
The portions were generous!
Had the PB+J cabbage- sounds weird but is so tasty! The risotto was warm and savory and the cured carrots in it were so so good! Got both pasta dishes - the parsnip carbonara and the wheat berry sausage agnolotti- both were divine!
The lighting was warm and dim. The decor is dark and moody and beautiful.“
“The Elk frybread is amazing. Looking forward to come here again.“

“Nice enough place... Almost like a bar you can bring your kids to? Not a lot of places to get a hot dog and they have a full menu of big Costco sized dogs for a not unreasonable amount of money. I had the burger on Texas toast and it came with fries for $13, however some of the hot dogs were $12-13 which is good if they came with fries but they don't, they come with chips, fries are 4 more dollars and are grocery store variety crinkle cuts... Not sure why the burger is cheaper than a hot dog... The burger was pretty good. My family seemed to enjoy their hot dogs. We had a couple beers that were good but not cheap by any means. It's not overpriced but the place has kind of a bargain feel, I think I would have liked it more it was like a "wow that was cheap experience". If you're gonna charge $12-13 for a hot dog include fries or maybe a 2 dollar upcharge 4 bucks is too much for a hand full of crinkle cuts. Lottery cheapens the place a bit and makes it feel more like a bar than it should. It's not a bad place.
Kid-friendliness: Kids allowed and there are some arcade games.“

“Visited on a weekday (Tuesday) so there was no wait and plenty of seats. Ordering system at the kiosk was straightforward, but bartender was there to help with suggestions if needed. Drink was delicious! I’ll definitely be back to try out the food menu next time.“
“One of the chillest Foxy's around! Good vibes, awesome workers, great prices on drinks and smokes. If you need a more relaxed night than what most pubs can offer, then this is your spot. They have an awesome lounge area that is hardly ever used so it's always an awesome choice. Definitely give them a look cause they are so much more than what you expect a gambling den to be.“

“The exquisite food the excellent service and the beautifully designed interior made this considerably more than just a meal. Our dinner at Astera was truly a memorable experience among the best dining experiences I’ve ever had. My three dining companions wholeheartedly agreed with this assessment. If you can get a table, just do it. You will not be disappointed. Hats off to chef Aaron and Montana, who led the extra extraordinary front of the house team. “This is a great place to catch up with friends and enjoy a craft cocktail. The cheeseburgers are so tasty! Service is usually walk up and order at bar. Sometime cocktail waiters are roaming around and take your order. I love that it has inside and outside seating options with heaters in the winter. The decor is spot on with the era!“
