Dear Sandy Reviews
Great coffee, kind people, bomb breakfast prosciutto sando 💫
Such a beautiful bar with a wonderful atmosphere. If you want a good drink and a good time just go, you will feel at home. The employees love and care about you.
A lot of fun community driven events take place here and there are so many opportunities for you to find community especially if you are from out of town. I’ve made friends here and have only lived here a year.

My favorite coffee shop in PDX!
Kate, the owner, is so kind and attentive, Rocky, Violet, Jacob, and Freedom are all amazing staff (and friends!) and not to mention they make some kickass coffee and cocktails.
The decor is cute, the lighting is wonderful, and the music is always on point.
10/10 in my book ✨💫

Dear Sandy is a charming spot located just off of 28th and NE Sandy, offering a diverse menu with healthy options and a wide selection of drinks, including Espresso + Licor 43 on the rocks. The atmosphere is cozy, fun, and unique, creating a nostalgic vibe that makes guests feel at home. The personable staff provides impeccable service, adding to the welcoming environment. Visitors enjoy a relaxed setting with big tables for groups, two-tops, couches, and a bar top, making it ideal for catching up, studying, or working on craft projects. The decor has a 60s and 70s feel, with quirky touches like a projector playing interesting movies that spark conversations or serve as good distractions. The place is also great for those seeking non-alcoholic options, with a solid menu of NA cocktails and coffee available until close.
Recent reviews highlight the quality of drinks, with creative choices like turmeric cocktails, blueberries coconut, egg fizz, and lavender. Guests appreciate the warm and inviting staff, especially bartenders like Michelle, who craft excellent drinks and provide a level of hospitality that is both patient and respectful. The space is often decorated for various occasions, adding charm without being overwhelming. Inside, vintage furniture and funky light installations create a perfect balance of warmth and quirkiness. It’s a space that encourages creativity and community, making it not just a bar, but also a cozy coffee shop, perfect for anyone looking to socialize in a relaxed environment.
