“Al Amir has been a family favorite for years. The owners know my parents, and our family are fairly regular. I honestly believe Al Amir is the absolute best Lebanese food in Portland. My husband and I just had them Cater our 10th wedding anniversary party, and everyone raves about the food. They were super generous with helping navigate our event. Please consider supporting this restaurant in catering your next event! “I recently attended an event catered by Kabob and was delighted by the variety and quality of the dishes they provided. The choices I made were all vegetarian, but from the comments I over heard everyone enjoyed their non-vegetarian meals as much as I did my plant based one.“

“I was my first time at that location. Very cozy atmosphere and amazing hospitality from employees. Busy around lunch but everyone receives the best attention and service. Our group of 6 were very pleased. Food is very authentic, fresh and delicious“

“My first visit tonight and the food was simply outstanding! Service too. Greek salad was fresh and tasty with crisp lettuce, tomatoes, olives, feta and simple dressing. Chicken kebab, hummus and rice were also perfectly cooked and nicely matched with a Lebanese red wine. I’m going again soon. In two words, “yum-yum!”“

“I’m in Portland for work, and this place was a short walk from where we’re located. I got the Over Fries Plate, and it was delicious! The food was made to order and served with a very refreshing bottle of lemonade. A local colleague made the recommendation, and I’m glad he did. Very friendly service too. They were patient with me as I tried to figure out what I was going to order. Check this place out next time you’re in Portland!“

“This is such a fun place! the owner and staff made my daughter and I feel very welcome, including her Med alert dog. Their food was tasty and the Bellydancing show was great fun and very entertaining. The place was packed but yet they managed to serve everyone with a big smile. Thank you Aladdin's Cafe. “Don’t miss this yummy cart in the back corner! If you like a lot of sauces, this is your place. I got the lamb plate and it came with hummus, tzaziki and two other sauces. They have gluten free pita too. It was a lot of food too. And there’s some tables to eat at.

“I come from the other end of the state once a year, I don’t have this option at home and really look forward to it. I love the food. I will say that this year will be the last time to your cart. The gentleman that took my order was a dick. I started by saying hello, only to be stared back at… ordered, to only be told my total… order ready, picked it up and said thank you, response was to have back turned to me as he walked away.. I’m not sure what I did to piss this p**** off, but I don’t like your food enough to deal with it anymore. “No soup for you!”“
