“I need more than 5 stars to rate this place! First off this food cart/stall location is awesome! The options are worldwide... Toktok was the reason I went cuz I wanted a Gyro. I walked up and the guy was mixing up a vat of Tzatziki sauce in bulk so right off the bat I knew this was gonna be authentic and amazing! I placed my order and got my food in record time and was astonished by how big it was! The meat literally melted in my mouth, the fresh sauce was all over my face and I couldn't have been happier. Even the pita was soft and melty, not chewy like most other places. I travel for work and this will be my destination whenever I have to go to Happy Valley from now on! I might even go make the 2hr trek on my days off periodically. Hands down, the best gyro I've ever had.“

Ended the meal off with an amazing Kunefe that honestly rivaled some of the best Kunefe/Kunafa that I’ve had from Levantine establishments. Added bonus is that the entire menu was halal! (per the waiter)

“We each had a combo plate, which were very large, we could have easily share one and gotten some appetizers. The bread was so good- it was as if foccassia and pita /or Naan bread had a baby. The link sausages and their special Chevapi had such great flavor. Their fried cauliflower is also gluten free. I’ve had two different wraps - this is my second time and once I learned their fried cauliflower was gf, it was a no brainer. The wrap had decent amount of chicken and plenty of cauliflower, I ask to sub the garlic alioli for the tahini sauce. No problem. It’s full of delicious vegetables and I feel dreamy eating it! A Mediterranean burrito. Fabulous. She’s a sweet lady, always offers hot sauce (delicious). You won’t be disappointed.“

“Don’t miss this yummy cart in the back corner! If you like a lot of sauces, this is your place. I got the lamb plate and it came with hummus, tzaziki and two other sauces. They have gluten free pita too. It was a lot of food too. And there’s some tables to eat at.

Abu Omar Gyros & Shawarma is a great place to eat.

I got a chicken Shawarma. Until to day I thought it was the same thing as a Gyro. Well, you learn something new every day.
It was very tasty. Lots of meat. They also gave me a little cup of hot sauce. Prob a med spice level. Really added to the Shawarma.
It's a big Shawarma. Half of it would be a meal. 3/4ths would be very full. Ate the whole thing and was uncomfortably full the rest of the day.Unless you're a big eater, be prepared to take some home.

My only complaint was the the bottom of the Shawarma the tortilla got soggy and fell apart. Good thing I'm a fast eater and was almost done when it totally fell apart.

I'll go back to this place and try a gyro next time.“

“Abu Omar Gyros & Shawarma is a great little food cart. Easy to spot, big menu, fast service, and the food looked excellent all around. The standout for me was the fries. Honestly, some of the best fries I’ve had anywhere — perfectly seasoned, hot, crisp, and full of flavor. Simple thing, but they absolutely nailed it.

The cart has a huge selection, with gyros, shawarma, plates, fries, wraps, and plenty of options, so there’s a lot to choose from. It’s a good stop if you want something filling and flavorful without spending forever deciding where to eat. The place has that solid food-cart feel where you know you’re getting real food and a good portion.

I’d definitely come back. If the fries were that good, I can only imagine the rest of the menu is worth exploring too. Great spot, good value, and those fries are seriously worth ordering.“

The gentleman that took my order was a dick. I started by saying hello, only to be stared back at… ordered, to only be told my total… order ready, picked it up and said thank you, response was to have back turned to me as he walked away.. I’m not sure what I did to piss this p**** off, but I don’t like your food enough to deal with it anymore. “No soup for you!”“
