The Greek salad dressing they whip up from scratch is addicting! Sorry, we ate the gyros before I could take a picture!

“We each had a combo plate, which were very large, we could have easily share one and gotten some appetizers. The bread was so good- it was as if foccassia and pita /or Naan bread had a baby. The link sausages and their special Chevapi had such great flavor. You can really taste the mix of regional cultures in the food. it made me look up more about the region because I had no idea of the flavorful influences. Highly recommend!“

“So wish I could share a photo of what we ordered. Unfortunately, we scarfed it down before we could take a picture😂 my husband, our 2 girls and I were in the area and popped in to grab some dinner before heading home. It was 10 minutes before closing, so we thought we would ask if they were still taking orders. The gentleman was so kind and insisted we order even though he had already cleaned the grills. We took our food to go and drove all the way back home(Ridgefield Wa about a 35 /40 min drive) we thought it would be “ooookay” since it had been sitting for a little bit. But let me tell you that was some of the most delicious Mediterranean food I’ve had since living here in Washington state!( going on 7 years! ) The food was so flavorful and the garlic dip was incredible! Even my two picky eaters couldn’t get enough. We normally would have no intention on returning since we live so far away. But I genuinely believe we will make the drive again when we have the craving!“

“Don’t miss this yummy cart in the back corner! If you like a lot of sauces, this is your place. I got the lamb plate and it came with hummus, tzaziki and two other sauces. They have gluten free pita too. It was a lot of food too. And there’s some tables to eat at.

Abu Omar Gyros & Shawarma is a great place to eat.

I got a chicken Shawarma. Until to day I thought it was the same thing as a Gyro. Well, you learn something new every day.
It was very tasty. Lots of meat. They also gave me a little cup of hot sauce. Prob a med spice level. Really added to the Shawarma.
It's a big Shawarma. Half of it would be a meal. 3/4ths would be very full. Ate the whole thing and was uncomfortably full the rest of the day.Unless you're a big eater, be prepared to take some home.

My only complaint was the the bottom of the Shawarma the tortilla got soggy and fell apart. Good thing I'm a fast eater and was almost done when it totally fell apart.

“Abu Omar Gyros & Shawarma is a great little food cart. Easy to spot, big menu, fast service, and the food looked excellent all around. The standout for me was the fries. Honestly, some of the best fries I’ve had anywhere — perfectly seasoned, hot, crisp, and full of flavor. Simple thing, but they absolutely nailed it.

The cart has a huge selection, with gyros, shawarma, plates, fries, wraps, and plenty of options, so there’s a lot to choose from. It’s a good stop if you want something filling and flavorful without spending forever deciding where to eat. The place has that solid food-cart feel where you know you’re getting real food and a good portion.

I’d definitely come back. If the fries were that good, I can only imagine the rest of the menu is worth exploring too. Great spot, good value, and those fries are seriously worth ordering.“

“I come from the other end of the state once a year, I don’t have this option at home and really look forward to it. I love the food. I will say that this year will be the last time to your cart. The gentleman that took my order was a dick. I started by saying hello, only to be stared back at… ordered, to only be told my total… order ready, picked it up and said thank you, response was to have back turned to me as he walked away.. I’m not sure what I did to piss this p**** off, but I don’t like your food enough to deal with it anymore. “No soup for you!”“

“The first time I ever ordered this place my delivery driver talked them up a LOT and they did not let him down, I truly cannot recommend this place enough these days myself. Fantastic portions, delicious flavors and consistent quality that leaves me satisfied every time. I honestly don't understand how they have a 3.5 stars; maybe they're all in-person experiences but I order at least 3-4 times a month and they nail it with quality and consistency every time, from lunch at noon to midnight munchies.

What do I recommend? The shawarma Arabi is fantastic, the ranch cheesesteak is a personal favorite, the fish and chips were surprisingly amazing but I always get the loaded fries with chicken, there is simply nothing better. The only two disappointments I have found in over a literal year of being a loyal customer of this place are the chicken nuggets and the pita bread being obviously storebought but I genuinely cannot bring myself to say that's enough for only 4 stars for the food, just do me a favor and wait to judge me until after trying the loaded fries, okay?
