My go-to place for gyros.“

“I have given the Karam at the university district 1 star. But this one has good reviews. It's clean, it is slightly small inside seating area but not cramped at all.

The guy was very helpful and answered all our questions with clarity. The hummus was good, the little chocolate vanilla pastry was tasty, the falafel was soft and fresh. And my favorite the Turkish coffee was good.

Their house-made pasta was perfectly al dente and the sauce with prawns was amazing! I was actually spooning up the excess sauce and eating it like a soup because I hadn't gotten bread to sop it up. My favorite is the shrimp burrito, overflowing with seafood, signature squid ink rice, veggies and aioli, not to mention the thing is huge. The meaty offerings are all top-notch. Unique and an incredible value. The seating is limited and spartan, but it's still the best lunch around!“

I ordered the chicken shawarma fries earlier this week, and the fries were delivered piping hot and fresh. I also like the panini style chicken shawarma wrap. My girlfriend likes the falafel, grape leaves, and she was very impressed by how big the shawarma salad was.
