Jersey Mike's Subs recently opened a new location, and customer experiences have been mixed. One visitor was excited to try it, having enjoyed their other location in Hillsboro Esplanade, which they consider a step above Subway. However, at this new site, they found the sandwiches to be just OK, comparable to Subway, with the sandwich lacking in meat and toppings, and the bread not meeting expectations. They hope the staff will improve. Another guest had a very positive first visit, praising the fresh, tasty food, friendly staff, and warm atmosphere. A third customer experienced some issues with their gluten-free sub, which was underfilled and missing ingredients like mayo, mustard, tomato, and bacon. Despite these issues, they appreciated the cleanliness of the store and friendly service, and look forward to better experiences in the future. Overall, the new Jersey Mike’s shows promise but still has areas to improve.
