Truly the best sushi, and possibly the best spot overall in town! Sashimi is always beautiful, their chef creations are wonderful and so creative and fresh. Rolls and hibachi are great too! Plus the service is truly amazing. Our usual server (it says Alice on the receipt) is amazing, and so beyond sweet with our son and very kind and efficient. It’s become our new favorite spot since they opened. 5+⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This is the first time I've ever felt compelled to write a review, so here we are!
As an AuDHD person with high sensory issues around food, eating healthy is a huge struggle. Veggies in particular are a texture nightmare.
Nikki's hibachi is SO good, that I liked zucchini and carrots for the first time in my life. Ate almost all of them, it was wild. I felt like maybe I needed to go buy a lottery ticket, or find a casino or something, it was that crazy. My partner was shocked, I was shocked! It really was that good.
Service was outstanding, we never needed to ask for anything, it was anticipated and provided. Attentive, but not pushy or hovering. They somehow even cleared a large platter seconds after we'd set it aside. I swear the waiter appeared out of thin air.
As someone who has worked in the restaurant industry, they deserve a round of applause for setting such a high bar right after opening. Most restaurants scramble for a bit to find their groove, but these guys came ready to play.
We will DEFINITELY be back!

Drinks were good. I’ve been here 2x. Ordered yakiniku. What I got was veggiestirfry over a very large bed of rice.
The meat tasted like undercooked starch.
Sushi was decent. They need to take the grilled items off the menu tho.

My husband, who does not like fish, described the spicy tuna crispy rice as transcendent.
Such a fantastic experience from start to finish! The food was absolutely delicious — every dish was fresh, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. The sushi rolls were perfectly balanced, the steak was cooked exactly how we wanted, and everything came out quickly and beautifully plated.
The staff was so kind and attentive without ever feeling rushed. You can tell they really care about their guests and take pride in what they do. The atmosphere is inviting and modern, perfect for a date night or dinner with friends.
We’ve tried a lot of sushi spots in the area, and Nikki Sushi and Steak definitely stands out. Can’t wait to come back!

Great food, fast service, beautiful location. We have ordered twice. First time there was a hiccup where the front desk misunderstood that I wanted to cancel my order although I had just called to confirm the address for pickup. But they were able prepare our order when we reached there so all good! The second time was dine in and we had a great experience. We have had yakisoba noodle with chicken, bento box, dragon roll sushi, karage chicken, spicy girl sushi and sake. Everything was amazing, just felt the quantity is low for the price we pay. It's a good place to if you want to splurge a little with good food and ambience.

I’m new to the area and have been very spoiled with great sushi living in San Diego. Nikki sushi did not disappoint. Gabe was an excellent server and was very accommodating in asking the chefs to prepare a special scallop dish that wasn’t on the menu. It was delicious and everything else was very fresh. The menu is very extensive so if you don’t like raw fish they have many other options.
