“Since the loss of Lovejoys we've been trying different tea places around the area but Skywater is the best one we've tried so far. There's nice ambience, a large tea selection, wonderful tea sandwiches that were traditional flavors but impeccably done with soft milk bread and the best mayos (dukes, Kewpie). The scones were nice, esp the summer menu peach ones, the clotted cream is good and they make it there. The Oreo cheesecakes were so unusually delicious, I was so surprised and delighted by how good they were and wish I had gotten the recipe. My favorite treat tho was the nectarine panna cotta we were served while we waited for our tea. Our host was friendly, knowledgeable, and seemed to really care about the details of afternoon tea.“
