I've been to Thirsty Lion many times. The food and service is always good. The only real issue I have with the atmosphere is how loud it can get when the restaurant is full. If you have hearing issues, be sure to bring your hearing aids or try sitting outside.
Sat at a high top as it was a little quieter than the general area. Great service and a very attentive server. Food and drinks are good and enjoy the atmosphere. Will definitely go back.
We went to Thirsty Lion as a family on Mother's Day. This was not a good choice for the occasion. The music was too loud to have a conversation at the table (and we were in a booth, so it was probably louder at a table nearer to the bar). My other issue, which would be easily fixed, was that although I appreciated having a bottle of water on the table, so we could fill our own glasses as needed, it was room temp, with no ice. I think most people in my area like water colder...
