Why pay $20 for a burrito up the road when you can pay $18 for a burrito and a horchata here and sit outside in the cool shade of their café garden eating (excellent) complimentary tortilla chips as you wait on your order.
We showed up on Father’s Day, a big outing Sunday for families, after we struggled to get into two other restaurants with our hungry 2 year old and when we told our waitress that our kid really needed to eat 10 minutes ago they instantly got a plate of rice and beans out to our table with waters and chips so our little one would melt down. The only reason my overall rating is 4 is due to the busy street.
9 out of 10 times I get take out so the busy street doesn't bother me. If you are looking for authentic food, this place will exceed your expectations. I have never had bad service, supper friendly and seems to be family oriented. Prices are reasonable and comparable to other business in the area. When we want Mexican food this is our go to place.
