This place is great! Thai and Japanese fusion dishes with well developed flavor, and springy, chewy noodles. I love that if you order your food "hot," it's actually spicy. It's super nice to have a good option open after 8pm, too. We've tried several of their dishes over the years. The duck ramen, khao soy, and mazemen are our favorites. The chili wontons and karaage are consistently good. The takoyaki can be a little light on octopus but heavy on toppings and prepared well.Vegetarian options: Several veggie or vegan optionsDietary restrictions: Gluten-free rice noodle options available for most dishesParking: Small parking lot and street parking. Can be difficult on crowded days.

Gorgeous restaurant indoor and outdoor. Most authentic Asian place in Hood River. This is my most often returned spot and I've tried everything on the menu. They were all amazing!!
Black garlic ramen with the spicy sauce was very flavorful! Service was quick, and the staff was very helpful.

Fabulous curry ramen and some of the best crab wontons - small space that is popular so not great for large parties. But they accommodated our group of 6 with kindness!

Fair warning. The mid spicy level is quite high. So if you don’t like it tooo spicy. Tell them so. Besides that. This places rocks. The Spicy shrimp ramen is just great and it makes me want to come back. Everything was spot on and the service was great and friendly. The Black garlic chintan Was great for any vegetarian out there. Few get the five star. The calamari was impressively tasty. Cooked to perfection.

Delicious and the Kati Tofu (with an egg) was perfectly warm for this cold, snowy day❄️☺️
Not your usual ramen house. Couldn't just grab my usual tonkotsu ramen and am glad that was the case. Ended up ordering the black garlic chintan. It was bursting with flavor. The noodles were perfect also. Tried both lightly spiced and medium, preferring the lightly spiced but both were excellent. The pot stickers were ok. Seemed deep fried instead of pan fried. The filling was mildly flavorful but not special. Worth the trip for the ramen alone. The also have limited off street parking.

Came in 15 min after opening and every table was taken or reserved. So come early or wait. Everything was delicious. Extra spicy will give some solid heat by the end if you're into that, although it does cost a dollar to add the extra spice.

I would say this place was very average. Not super friendly service or great ambiance. And the drinks? They had one beer on draft and they were out. They call themselves a beer bar too. Odd. The food was okay. I loved that they made everything gluten free by adding rice noodles. That helped a lot and the Khai So was spicy just like I like it. Solid choice. Not sure I would go back.
