Stopped by New York Sub Shop in Hood River and was seriously impressed. The team working there was super friendly and had some great sandwich recommendations. I went with The Manhattan — and it did not disappoint.
The meat was grilled to perfection, and you could tell everything from the bread to the baked goods was fresh and made with care. Honestly, by the end of the day, I was already craving another one of their sandwiches.

We stopped in for lunch while traveling from PDX to Idaho and were pleasantly surprised! The staff was incredibly friendly and our food came out quickly. The subs were delicious—fresh and flavorful. We also enjoyed the outdoor seating area, which was clean and comfortable. Definitely a great spot for a quick and tasty bite on the road. We'll absolutely be back!
