We had two wonderful dinners here two nights in a row. The service was impeccable, the Italian music delightful and the food was scrumptious. I'm confused by some of the reviews being negative. We had the absolute best experience. The owner was talkative and we learned a lot about Bulgaria, Greece and Italy and their food and wine. Polenta, risotto, wines and cocktails were delicious. The deserts were made onsite which is such a treat. Everything was fresh and delicious.

Fabulous food, amazing service! We were greeted very warmly by the owner. We were asked by 3 different servers how our meal was. We felt cared for & seen, and the food was out of this world! Lovely atmosphere. We’ll be returning & recommending!

Dining here is always a pleasure. The wait staff are very pleasant and engaging, the selections are varied and the food is 4 stars and above.
Hands down favorite Italian restaurant! We drive over 2 hrs to get here. First discovered them in 2023 and keep coming back!Tried 6 different meals here, and they're all authentic and delicious ?Bartender is also amazing! Yell him what you're feeling, and he brings you what you're looking for. Amazing drinks!Thank you for always making this experience top-notch. We'll see you soon!

For the price portions were disappointingly small. How much does pasta cost really? I got the Penne vodka with chicken and there were maybe 4 bits of chicken and a few peas. For $27 I thought I’d be getting something that would fill me up. Didn’t taste like much. Had the tiramisu for dessert that was $12 and nearing the end of its shelf life.Service was nice, we told our server about the tiramisu and she took it off our bill. All of the staff we interacted with at the restaurant were friendly.They seemed like they were trying to push the specials, maybe those are better?
Picked up dessert to go for my daughter’s 8th birthday, best chocolate mousse we’ve ever had! Also they were so kind to place a candle in the to go bag! Made her feel so special. Can’t wait to come back and actually get to sit down and eat in the beautiful atmosphere they have created! Thanks again!

I have never reviewed a restaurant before but this place made such an impression I felt I had to. Great atmosphere, excellent food, I mean top notch. Wife and I took first bite of the pork chop at the same time, same look came across our faces, made eye contact and both said “expletive… that was good.” Highly recommend. Also totally random we ended up here, stuck in hood river due to interstate closure we’re walking down the street and decided to give it a try.

I have been going to Romuls with my family since I was like 9 years old when they were still located in The Dalles. The food is always delicious, the atmosphere is so romantic, and the staff know what they're doing. Need a dish paired perfectly with a glass of wine? Done ✅This business has been so generous and kind to my family as well. I cannot speak more highly of a restaurant. We were taking care of some business in the Hood River area. My husband was wanting Italian food. I'd seen this restaurant on line when looking for a place to eat and said let's try this restaurant. It was delicious. Bought a gift certificate for someone who had been major help to us before leaving. We would definitely dine here again when we're in town.
