So I thought I would pickup a pizza driving back home to Portland. I found this place online and I travel alot. I have had amazing pizzas that are fully loaded. I ordered a all meat pizza at there to go food cart thing for $32.00. Let me tell you very very over priced and no topping at all and the pizza probably weighed a half a pound. I think the box weighed more than the pizza haha. Also the gal at there little checkin desk was very rude. The pizza was taste less and no sauce like a pinch of chesse. I should of just ordered bread sticks or went to Pizza hut and juat had a crappy made pizza or little cecers for junk. I mean if you ever been to Portland and had Pizza Scholls there pizza is like 20 lbs for $44.00. This place is ripping ya off for sucky pizza. If you go down to Mod pizza has pretty much the same dough and you can load it up as much as you can for $12.49 on there there big ones. Put that in prospective on the costs. Feel bad for hood river trying to capitalize on there water front location. I mean I know rent is high but good golly. I really feel cheated. Unless the 2 dudes in the back making pizza didn't make it correctly. I am just very very disappointed my expectations was very high for this location, looking at other reviews.

I wanted to come for dine in. I tried to call the restaurant, but their phone system does not allow me to be connected to a live agent. Seriously !? Such a huge restaurant with several team members and 2 or 3 girls sitting at the reception and no one can pick up the line!? I had to drive all the way to get there just to be told that sorry we don’t take any dine in now although I showed up more than an hour before their advertised closing time. I said I’m ok to take my food for to go, but she said we don’t have to go orders available either. She could have saved my entire trip if there’s a phone system that is working.

My 6 year old loved his cheeze pizza!! Customer service is great too! We came around 4pm and it was pretty quick! Very efficient staff. Thank You and we will be back! ?
Parking: There's plenty of parking. Free parking where we parked.
Kid-friendliness: Since it's a food truck there's plenty of tables available. The kiddos can play freely on the grass while you wait for your food.

So for $30 you get this pizza, warm, not hot. They also can't be bothered with chopping arugula and just throw a handful on it like no Fs given. The pizza was average, for non-pizza hut type, but toppings were scarce, except for the arugula thrown on.This place is ridiculous and never again.

Great pizza. The dough makes it: light, crispy and full of flavour. Toppings are pretty cool too. Good service and a great location next to the river with outdoor seating.
Great Pizza, very good experience.

Simply consistently excellent food. Always something local to try whether it’s your fresh local vegetables or wines with an appetizers or salad before one of their fantastic pizzas, you can’t go wrong. One problem, no matter the day of the week during summer, the place is always packed. The secrets out, this is a must!
Good pizza and a wide variety of brews. Close to the Columbia and has a pleasant ambiance. Has accommodations for outside seating with fire pits.

My husband and I are Hood River locals and we have enjoyed many delicious lunches and dinners at Solstice. On this Sunday evening the seasonal specials featured fresh local peaches and we tried them all. I started with the yummy Peach Margarita. We shared the Tomato and Peach Salad (local heirloom tomatoes, local peaches, basil, fresh mozzarella, Blenheim apricot vinegar, extra virgin olive oil, and sea salt) and we shared the Hood River Peach Pizza (local peaches, house-made Italian sausage, roasted balsamic red onions, ricotta salata, fresh mozzarella, olive oil base and fresh arugula). The salad and the pizza were both delicious. Olivia N was our server, and she took excellent care of us. Solstice creates amazing pizzas with their house-made pizza dough, fresh unique toppings and wood fired oven. Solstice is much more than just pizzas and that is saying a lot.
The menu is varied and somewhat original. A group of my family went here for an early dinner. It's very busy on a Saturday! When we walked in we had a reservation and they seated us right away. The entry area is small and you have to dodge fast moving workers. We sat on the outside patio. Although covered a couple of our party were in the sun and got very hot. The waiter was polite and knowledgeable about the menu. Not very many beers on tap actually. They had one of my favorites though, Palette Jack IPA. I had the pear salad and it was very good. We also ordered pizza. I think I'm just not a fan of the "wood fired" pizza, because it comes out basically burnt but not crispy crust and too floppy. But the taste was good. We also ordered the shishito peppers and they were tasty. When you make a reservation it is for 1-1/2 hours ONLY. And they will come a let you know your time is up. I realize this is to keep the reservations timely for everyone, but at the same time it's a little off putting.

Best pizza we have ever had, and we have had some pretty darn good pizza over the years! The location is wonderful with a view of the river. The service and atmosphere were excellent. Try the truffle fries and the mushroom pizza!
Got an outside booth which was lovely. Very quick service and absolutely delicious pizzas. we got the cheery girl, award winning pizza which was amazing.
