I have been visting for a month, maybe once per week. The space is very nice and this business has real potential, but the owner is a complete loudmouthed jerk, and his staff is young and inept. The coffee is heavily watered-down; this guy is cheap as they come - keep reading. You'll need to do the owners food prep work for him: heat your own bagels (which are admittedly tasty and big - only + I could find here), and bus your own table, heat your coffee in the microwave, clean your own table. But it is the owners insistence on keeping the back door propped open - for his own kitchen comfort while the customers shiver (nearly everyone in hear has their coats on)- that has me saying no more to Good Bean. Today, I have asked three staff to please close the door, its very cold, one did it twice, each time reopened minutes later by the owner, the third request: she just stood there with a dumb look on her face and walked away to talk to the owner. Told he if it keeps happening, I wont be back..and so I wont. I think this place could be awesome, with a different owner. He should not be in any service business - not a nice guy!
Me, my partner, and kids had a wonderful time at goodbean! Yummy coco and the owner was so sweet with the boys 🥰 definitely a must stop in Jacksonville!!!

Came here with my kids and ordered two small hazelnut mochas. Ill be honest, there were horrible, probablythe worst I've ever had. There was no chocolate or hazelnut, just yuck. Worst ive ever had. Never again.

What a fun and tasty breakfast experience!! You order at the counter and food is brought to the table. They have many tasty treats in the pastry case. Their bagels are delicious as is everything they serve. We were there with another couple and their breakfast were tasty too!
Good coffee and great pastries

Went twice over Labor Day weekend. Had a mix of items - coffee, chai tea, scramble, burritos, biscuits and gravy, and a cinnamon twist donut pastry. Loved all it. Felt it was cooked well and not too greasy. Friendly service that communicated wait-time expectations well. We'll go back.

Beautiful historic building with a friendly staff. The avocado toast is delightfully dressed with delicious bacon and egg cooked to order. The cappuccino made with dark roast is creamy. I would revisit this cafe when I am in this area.

Yummy breakfast burritos, one of us with veggie and the other bacon. Friendly and efficient. Good coffee, but if they added a dark roast drip, would hit 5 stars!
