La Chouette is a throwback to what the best Oregon wineries used to be 20 years ago before corporate influence. Quality and pricing are top notch. The white wines are delicious but the Pinot Noirs are what steal the show. A special winery. Highly recommended.”

“This is such a memorable winery to visit! A short ten minute drive from Salem, you feel instantly part of the family when you take a seat on their lovely patio. The wines are sublime and the crew is so knowledgeable that I learn something new each visit. The food menu is always so delicious and thoughtfully curated to pair with the wine offerings. A great place to host a gathering (we had an amazing 50th birthday there!) or just grabbing a lunch with a friend. A real Willamette Valley treasure.”

“OMG....The food was so good and yummy and just the right amount of heat.....The Fried rice w/pineapple and chicken was amazing. Eating this meal made me feel like i was in Thailand on vacation. It was amazing and Patty and her husband Steve were great people and very friendly.”

“What an unbelievable experience. We went to the stomp the grapes event. Such a great atmosphere and fun event. And it helps that the wine tastings were phenomenal. Bought some bottles to take home. The staff were fantastic. A big shout out to Josh Gil one of the ambassadors. His tour and information was exceptional. Outside being a Lions fan, he was great. Def coming to visit again soon and enjoy more wine.”

“Delicious! My husband and I were blown away by the taste and freshness of the shawarma, the salad, and the falafel. The falafel was the perfect balance of crispy but still moist inside, I've been saddened by so many dry falafels over the years but these were the best I've had in Albany by far! Can't wait to come back! 🤤 The vinyl igloos were a great touch to the shared outside space too, perfect for the drizzly PNW weather.

Kid-friendliness: Plenty of options nearby for pickier eaters.

Wheelchair accessibility: Very accessible but I doubt a wheelchair would fit in the vinyl igloos.”

The Royal Bar & Grill in SW Albany really caters to the entire communities needs with the different array of events that they host (Music Bingo, Karaoke, line dancing, live music) there specials for food and drink are very affordable and extremely tasteful for all!! “If you're looking you're looking for delicious coffee and amazing customer service look no further. As a traveling salesman, I must start my day off right. Every morning I visit these ladies, always greeted with a smile and great conversation. Most importantly, the coffee is the best in town. The only complaint I have is that I'm on the road too much to get something to eat or drink in the afternoon.”
