Gwen and the staff are amazing! I accidentally got the wrong size birks and Gwen was able to make a return and exchange through the mail for me! Absolutely the best customer service! I can’t wait to visit again. This is our favorite shop at the lake. Thanks for making our experience amazing. 🥰
After reading a review of Matterhorn Village, we were pleasantly surprised at how nice it was. The new owners have come up with thoughtful upgrades. The fake evergreen trees have been replaced with live trees and shrubs. There is a new outdoor seating area with plenty of new picnic tables and even a tram car to sit in for a fun photo opp. I am sorry the review showed an outdated picture of sasquach as he is sporting a new bright plaid vest. Very cool mini golf experience. Cute candy shack/fudge shop, great ice cream choices--both Tillamook and soft serve flavor burst, and excellent gift shop with lots of cool options. Centrally located within walking distance to everything in town.
Matterhorn Village is a delightful destination offering a variety of experiences. The Gift Shop provides excellent customer service, with friendly staff like Linda, who is noted for being very helpful. The shop is well stocked, neat, clean, and tidy, making it a favorite for visitors who return year after year. Guests can also enjoy playing mini golf at the newly renovated mini-golf course, which features beautiful landscaping, shaded areas, and resident wildlife. This charming attraction is a fun spot where families can enjoy ice cream, smoothies, and snacks after a round of golf. Visitors often highlight this place as a must-visit during their time at Wallowa Lake, making it a welcome addition to the town of Joseph.
