Best Jamaica I have ever had anywhere!!! Had their chicken tostada and it was so good and hit the spot. Customer service was excellent too.
Wow, we loved this place!! Food 10/10 we had the chicken sandwiches, we wanted to try cochinita pibil but they were sold out, they all apologized to us and they gave us a coupon for 5 tacos and two drinks for next time, but even though chicken was the only thing they had, it was delicious!! I just love that this restaurant offers a whole new taste experience to the local restaurant scene. It’s a family-owned and operated eatery and they are all so very pleasant. They don’t yet have vegetarian options but will prepare dishes without meat AND they are open to trying some new vegetarian recipes. I appreciate that.

Hanal Kiin is a delicious restaurant located in an unassuming strip mall. The small menu features fantastic and flavorful Mayan-style food that is different from typical Mexican offerings. The Cochinita Pibil and Lechón are bursting with rich, authentic flavor, available as very full tacos, a loaded sandwich, or a torta. The meat is tender, perfectly seasoned, and a little greasy in the best way. The surprising Empanada de Coco is so delicious, like a coconut macaroon in a buttery crust.
Portions are great and everything is super flavorful and fresh. Excellent sides complement the meals, including a unique cole slaw, a refreshing cucumber salad, and a creamy green salsa that makes the flavors pop. The spicier salsa is also loved, as is the super delicious avocado salsa. For something refreshing, the house-made jamaica tea is good and the Mandarin Machacado is a perfect, refreshing balance of sweet and tart, like the best shaved ice. They also have Mexican Pudding and, on Tuesdays, Mayan-style tamales wrapped in banana leaves.
The service is amazing, genuinely kind, attentive, and friendly. Employees are very kind, offering samples and making guests feel welcome from the moment they walk in. The atmosphere includes a dining area with an unfinished mural. Exceeding expectations, Hanal Kiin is definitely recommended for a treat, leaving customers planning their next visit.
